Key responsibilities:
- Project management:
Oversee the execution of end-to-end logistics projects, ensuring that deadlines, budgets and customer requirements are met;
- Collaboration:
Work closely with internal and external teams (operations, warehouses, carriers) to ensure smooth project execution;
- Performance monitoring:
Monitor and evaluate project performance using relevant tools and indicators, implementing corrective actions where necessary;
- Risk management:
Identify potential risks associated with logistics projects and implement preventive measures;
- Communication:
Ensure smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders, sharing progress, issues and proposed solutions;
- Process optimisation:
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and proposing solutions to increase operational efficiency;
- Regulatory compliance:
Ensure that logistics projects comply with applicable regulations (safety, quality, environment, etc.);
- Reporting and documentation:
Produce progress reports, post-project reviews and related documentation to ensure full traceability of actions.
Qualifications:
- Degree in logistics, supply chain or equivalent experience in the field;
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in transport and/or warehousing operations;
- Proven experience in managing medium to complex projects, with a good command of project methodologies. Ability to explain projects delivered as a lead;
- Analytical profile with data- and fact-based reasoning;
- Excellent communication skills, results- and solution-oriented;
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility;
- Curiosity, open-mindedness and willingness to learn outside your comfort zone;
- Knowledge of a WMS is a plus;
- Fluency in Dutch, and/or English and/or French is required to support our expansion;
