Core circular business activities generate at least 70% of the total business revenue. The port area is defined as the geographical territory managed by the Port Management Body.<br \/>\nThis indicator is relative, expressed as a share <strong>comparing the area occupied by core circular business activities to the total port area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to measure its value<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Circular business activities can be identified by the relevant NACE-codes (Bel-first), linked to the R-strategies. The port managing body can be asked to check for missing or wrong data.<br \/>\nSuveys can be conducted with the businesses that conduct core circular activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The hierarchy of R-strategies and their contribution to the circular economy are currently not considered. Occupied area can be measured by full plot size or estimated proportionally to circular activities, though this approach may involve inaccuracies.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_col-sm-2 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Indicator 8.
